Ugh. I had wanted to rant, write, whatever about a bunch of stuff over the past few weeks, and couldn’t find the time. Now that I have a few minutes, I can’t think of what it was that had me so inspired.
Between working, running, a girlfriend, and starting to look for a house, all the free time I thought I had just disappeared. Either that, or I’m pissing it away…
Yes, this piece is about the “C” word, that most awful of expressions, even if you’re not on the HBO show Deadwood. You other Duke fans may find it especially offensive, since the “C” word I’m referring to is “Carolina”. Much to my disgust, the Tar Holes won the mens’ NCAA basketball championship last night. The blow could have been softened had I won the office pool, but that wouldn’t have happened even if Illinois had one (I would’ve lost by one point).
But, in the grand scheme of things, it’s not too bad, since at least McCants is going to turn pro (see this ESPN article). Who knows if May, Felton, or Marvin Williams will stay. That only helps the Blue Devils next year (also check the Duke Basketball Report). And that’s all I have to say about that for now.
